“I have been working locally, regionally and nationally in engaging faith communities in the struggle for immigrant justice, starting at CLUE when I was the co-founder of the New Sanctuary Movement in 2006 and then continuing as co-founder of the Evangelical Immigration Table in 2011, the Guardian Angels project (a courtwatch program for unaccompanied migrant minors and their families) in 2014, Matthew25/Mateo 25 in 2016 and ECAS (the Ecumenical Collaboration for Asylum Seekers) in 2019. I am passionate about ensuring that the church goes deep into its wells to contribute all of our gifts to the broader movements for justice.”
